I bought these because they showed the joinery, a mark of well-made wood products. Unfortunately, the joint marks are painted on, and the wood is not walnut. Buyer beware. The foot rungs wore through to bare wood in the first day, so I gave them two coats of polyurethane, and have had no further trouble with the finish. Great deal otherwise, as they look great.

I use it in my very stylized office and it has brought that perfect understated, stylish, upscale look and feel to the finished look. I use it as a stool for my clients at my check out counter and at times will use it as a decorative plant stand. It looks beautiful and it is very sturdy. A phenomenal buy!

I shopped around locally and online and these barstools were the best deals I found, plus they are really nice quality and look great in my home. They are nice in an area that's kind if a tight squeeze (I have a passthrough window with a counter from my kitchen to den, and the stools are in the den side between a couch and a wall; it's not a large room, but they fit nicely). They are very sturdy and a great find.
The walnut barstools are beautiful, sturdy and comfortable. I highly reccomend them.

The stools are made of solid wood and put together very well. They weren't as dark as I was expecting however they match our other kitchen furniture just fine. We scoured the web looking for the best deal and this website had it.
