When assembling, put all bolts on loosely and then tighten. If you put the bolts on one-by-one and tighten them all the product may not assemble well.

We recently redid our kitchen and needed counter height stools. I bought one of these to compliment the high back chairs (Augusta 24") at my counter. I really like the design and comfortable seat. Not terrible to put together but it did take time.
The only thing I am not crazy about are the plastic things on the bottom to prevent scratching. They make the chair uneven and I am not sure that they won't scratch my woods floors. I am planning on taking them off and putting softer ones on.

PROS:1.These stools are as attractive and sturdy looking as they appear. They nicely compliment my brown sile stone kitchen island and would look great at a bar. 2.They have a wide seat base which is appealing since it's a backless stool and my young children can steady themselves on the seat, as well as adults. 3 Moderately PricedCONS: 1. The assembly wasn't too bad but the leather seat base is off center by about 1/2 an inch. When you look at it from standing above, you can see it's off center and looks misplaced. My husband said the holes would need to be redrilled to correct the manufacturing error. We decided to leave it as is. Though it is noticeable when pointed out, it's not a major problem. But at [$] stool, it's worth mentioning. Knowing everything I know, I would purchase them again because stools are very expensive and they are of great quality overall.

Looks really nice around the kitchen island. I ordered one to make sure I would like it and then ordered another one right away. Use them on each end of an island counter with 3 other wooden stools with backs between them. Very well-made.
