Comments about Boraam Industries Inc Sumatra 29" Bar Stool in Distressed Oak:
I bought these stools for around our bar. Considering the quality of the product, the price was excellent. It takes a bit of time to assemble these, but they are well made, and the hardware supplied is heavy-duty. Assembled, the stools appear to be quite robust and swivel easily. Appearance-wise, these stools look great and generate positive comments.
Service and delivery comments:
Excellent delivery and customer service. Shipping to Canada was a breeze.

Comments about Boraam Industries Inc Sumatra 29" Bar Stool in Distressed Oak:
Bought 4 of these for my bar and they look great! Received an additional 15% promo discount at checkout which made the price very attractive ([$]/stool). The only con I have is that the slats for the weave back are not anchored in the grooves and will tend to shift out of position with use to reveal unfinished wood beneath. I'll see how bad it gets and will apply a little clear glue in the grooves if needed to hold them in position. Other than that, I thought they were a great product for the price!!

Shipping was held up a few days because of snow

Comments about Boraam Industries Inc Sumatra 29" Bar Stool in Distressed Oak:
I wanted nice looking and well built stools for around my bar. I'm up in Canada and I could not find anything locally to compare to these stools at this price. I picked these from the vast selection offered by Barstools.com, and I'm more than happy with the stools for both quality, appearance, and price.
Service and delivery comments:
I have nothing but good to say about my whole shopping experience with Barstools.com. Importing these stools was a breeze; as promised, they were delivered to my door with no extra charges, and almost as quickly as had I been able to order them locally! I had one slight problem with one stool, which was immediately remedied to beyond my expectations and satisfaction by customer service. Overall, excellent service.

Comments about Boraam Industries Inc Sumatra 29" Bar Stool in Distressed Oak:
I wanted to buy nice bar stools without breaking the bank. These looked good online and the price was definitely right. Very classy looking. Easy to assemble. Only two problems: they don't self-center. I plan to rig a small elastic (bungy-type) under the seat to help it center itself. Don't know if that will work or not. It's really no biggie. Just a personal preference. Also, a few of the weave pieces on the backs have come loose. I simply reposition them (very easy but a hassle). My plan is to run a bead of hot glue along the edge and that problem will be solved. If you want a nice bar stool without spending your entire budget, you should buy these. Oh yes, there is a similar bar stool in this price range that has a black faux leather padded back. While the stools seats are exactly the size, the positioning of the black padded back takes up nearly one quarter of the seat surface. I bought one to see (before buying 6 of them). It was not returnable so I ended up taking the back off completely and using that one behind the bar. The Sumatra one is perfectly comfortable and the back supports. My guests think I spent a fortune on these bar stools. I'm sure not going to tell them I didn't!! Buy them!
